This role is in a new team where we are migrating multiple finance and logistics back-office functions from a group firm. It is a new domain and will encompass several disciplines, starting with data management and sorting, but growing into a large no. of correlated tasks.It is an exciting role for a young candidate who likes to be challenged and is enthusiastic about learning multiple aspects of the warehousing and logistics function, ranging from customer account management to ensuring that our records are up do date and always accurate. It is fast paced, time sensitive and requires extreme diligence and presence of mind.Setting up Data Workflow Data into multiple systemsCustomer InputsMaintain central Tables and ReportsEnsure that tables are maintained based on the Business requirementsEnsure that the Reports are in line with the global reporting requirementsEnsure adherence to business rules, coordinate data inter-table, ensure there is no discrepancy or break in the data chainSupport Projects / GovernanceAdvice, training, process implementation, querying, auditDevelopment and Improvement of functional templates and process documentationContribute to new projects, migrations and implementation of strategic projectsContribute to Continuous ImprovementContribute to the effectiveness of the function through identification of areas for continuous improvement, providing input and information to achieve problem resolution. Performance and TeamworkContribute to a good team spirit through proactive communication with stakeholders and teamWork closely with continuous improvement team and team leadersWork with team members in a coordinated manner to achieve process objectivesEnsure that the daily activities, within the responsibilities are fulfilled according to the timetable agreed with supervisor/ manager
Education: University Degree, preferably in a discipline involving numbers and/or logical thinkingThe number of years of experience required:Experience of min 1 years of experience in work in logistics, back-office operations and or accounting functionsExperience in a Shared services center environment is an advantageWe will consider a lower experience in lieu of skillsets and attitude.
