Job Description

Overall Purpose and Objective of Position:As a Trade Assistant for the Coffee Platform at Louis Dreyfus Company, you will provide vital support to the Marketing team by managing day-to-day operations, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring seamless execution of transactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, data management and entry, reporting/analyzing and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Main Responsibilities:Assist commercial sales team; position reporting, sample requests, AR reporting, pricing, etc.Become an expert of business execution flows and processes.Assist in tracking inventory levels and managing stock.Provide backup on Sales desk, price fixations, contract entry, sampling/allocations, CRM entries, etc.Ad-hoc projects and day-to-day tasks to be assigned.· Sales Support:Help manage customer relationships and respond to inquiries as a support to the marketing teamsAccurately manage and update SPOT inventory list· Team Collaboration:Work closely with the trading team and other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.Liaise with traders, freight, and LDC coffee origins to support execution of tradeAdditional Responsibilities:Arrange and schedule trade shows: SCTA coffee Dinner, World of Coffee, etcAssisting with onboarding of new clientsCompany Conformance Statements:In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.Interact professionally with co-workers, Company business associates and the general public.Work together in a cooperative spirit to serve the best interests of the Company.Operate in fully responsible manner and comply with the law and Company policy.

Qualifications

Education:Bachelor’s degree Experience:International logistics or tradeHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database systemsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines under pressureSelf-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervisionEffective communication skills, both written and oralGood interpersonal skills to coordinate work with multiple stakeholders.Detail oriented with high attention to detailStrong analytical skills Additional Information Working Conditions:Typical climate-controlled office environment.
